H.M. PRECISION GRINDING SERVICE PTY LTD (HMPG) is a specialist grinding business established in 1968. Our capabilities extend from precision grinding to sub-micron tolerances.

When HMPG required machine tool spindle repairs for our own in-house equipment, we found the prices charged to be exorbitant and the “down time” period to be unacceptable to our business. Often the repair work was undertaken overseas, hence extended lead times to cater for delivery compounded the situation.

Accordingly in the year 2000, we embarked on establishing facilities to conduct machine tool spindle assembly repair.

This necessitated building a Class 3 Accredited Clean Room and equipping it with all necessary tooling, gauging equipment, assembly jigs, and monitoring equipment.

Our highly qualified staff are trained & skilled in spindle assembly.

(depending on the condition of the spindle and bearing availability). We are constantly adding to our stock of precision bearings to meet our customer’s needs.
